Today I was honored to serve as a break-out session instructor for Corban University’s young adult writing conference, Between Two Worlds. I was excited to meet with just over thirty high school students from Salem-Keizer schools who enjoy creative writing as much as I do, based on the conversations I heard among them during their brainstorming times! My break-out session was titled “Isn’t That a Little Personal?” and was about creating characters that readers care about. Click here for another copy of the brainstorming sheet. If you attended my break-out session, please say hi in the comments!
